I am a senior researcher at ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) in South Korea. My research aims to tackle performance challenges in various networked systems such as datacenters and blockchain.
I earned a Ph.D. in computer science from KAIST in 2015, and a B.S. also from KAIST in 2007. My Ph.D. advisors were Sue Moon and Dongsu Han. During my graduate studies, I worked as a research intern at MSR Cambridge in the summer of 2013, and I was a visiting scholar at UCLA IPAM in the fall of 2008.
